The Notifier FSM500K(HK)-NL-ISO are state-of-the-art resettable Manual Call Point (MCP) that includes Flashscan™ addressable interface to be connected with any Notifier ONYX® intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) as a component of a Fire Control System which using Notifier analogue addressable devices.
The FSM500K(HK)-NL-ISO provide both signaling of an alarm to the Fire Indicator Panel and local LED indication of activation. The MCP integrates isolator functionality. It is a dedicating addressable MCP for installation on the two-wire communication circuit. When fire being detected, an alarm signal will be transmitted to control panel after pressing the operation board down and at the same time, the LED on the call point will show the system in alarm status. The integrated Isolator enable part of the communications loop to continue operating when a short circuit occurs on it. The Isolator will automatically restore the entire communications loop to the normal condition when the short circuit is removed.
The upgraded resettable button design allows repeatable operation which reduces total cost of ownership to users. Rotary decade switches are provided for setting the devices address on the two wire communications loop. The addressability of the FSM500K series MCP enables the control panel to provide fire fighters with a pinpoint location of where the alarm activation originated from. The FSM500K series MCP requires compatible addressable communications to function properly. The MCP will support either Flashscan™ or CLIP (Classic Loop Interface Protocol) modes.
